When fiction becomes reality.

What happens when reality becomes fiction, and fiction returns to reality? Starting from the 2012 protests in Bucharest, the film Captura brings cinematic fiction face to face with reality, exploring the fragile boundary between what we experience and what we perceive.

Adi Voicu brings cinematic fiction and documentary photography together in an immersive visual dialogue about experience and representation, about what happened and what we see. Together with photographer A.I. Bumbac, he invites us to look beyond images and reconsider how we construct, perceive and recognise reality.

A real experience becomes a film. The film returns to reality. How much of reality remains in the image?
